Momentary control for the RC-5, RC-3, RC-1 and RT-2, with the reach their top-mounted jack needs.
The BS-2M Footswitch is made for four BOSS pedals: the RC-5 Loop Station, the RC-3 Loop Station, the RC-1 Loop Station and the RT-2 Rotary Ensemble. It sits on top of the pedal and puts a momentary external switch exactly where your foot already is, without giving up a single inch of pedalboard space.

Why these four get their own switch:
Most BOSS compact pedals take their remote switch through a jack at the bottom of the pedal, and the BS-1M is cut to that length. The RC-5, RC-3, RC-1 and RT-2 put their remote jack at the top instead, out of the BS-1M's reach. The BS-2M is the same momentary switch with a longer cable, so it reaches their jack cleanly.
What it does:
- BOSS RC-5: assignable control. Stop, undo and redo, memory shift and more.
- BOSS RC-3: stops playback, or shifts to the next memory.
- BOSS RC-1: stops playback, and undoes or redoes your last layer.
- BOSS RT-2: switches the rotor between slow and fast.
