External tap tempo for the Keeley Halo, from a switch that sits on top of it.
The KL-1 Footswitch gives your Keeley Halo Andy Timmons Dual Echo a dedicated tap tempo switch without giving up a single inch of pedalboard space. It sits on top of the Halo and puts external tap exactly where your foot already is.
What it does on the Halo:
- Tap tempo: tap the KL-1 to set the delay time on the active side. No more holding a bypass switch to get into tap mode.
- Infinite hold: hold the KL-1 down and the active delay runs to maximum feedback. Let go and it settles back.
Compatible pedals:
- Keeley Halo Andy Timmons Dual Echo: external tap tempo and infinite hold for the active side.
- Keeley Hydra Stereo Reverb & Tremolo: external tap tempo for the tremolo.
- Keeley Eccos Delay Looper: works the FDBK knob switch from your foot, so a double tap swaps between delay and looper.
On all three the KL-1 plugs into the TRS EXP. PEDAL jack, which Keeley wires to read a mono momentary switch. That jack is also where an expression pedal goes, so you can run the KL-1 or an expression pedal, not both at once.
